A nurse is always a call bell away.

Whether your loved one is in the General Ward or a private cabin, the nurse-to-resident ratio and the response time to the call bell are the same. Choosing a room is about the kind of day-to-day company and privacy you want — not about the level of care.

General Ward A

Shared (4–6 beds) · Pipalbot (Maharajgunj) · Bansbari

A bright, shared ward where residents keep company with each other during the day and rest privately at night. The layout was chosen because we've found many older adults do better with quiet company nearby — not isolation. Nurses are seconds away.

Best for

Residents who are stable, sociable, and enjoy some company — including those in the later weeks of a rehabilitation stay.

General Ward B

Shared (2–3 beds) · Pipalbot (Maharajgunj) · Bansbari

A smaller shared ward with the same care standard as General A, but with fewer beds — often chosen by families who want the reassurance of a shared space without a full ward. Same 24-hour nursing.

Cabin A

A private room with an attached bathroom, natural light, and space for one family member to sit by the bed. This is the room most families choose when a loved one is settling in for a longer stay or wants their own quiet space.

Cabin B

Private (1 bed) · Pipalbot (Maharajgunj)

A larger private room with more floor space — for residents who need room for a wheelchair, walker, or physiotherapy exercises at the bedside. Otherwise identical in care standard to Cabin A.

High Care Unit (HCU)

Private (1 bed) · Pipalbot (Maharajgunj)

A dedicated area for residents who need closer monitoring — after a stroke, a serious infection, or during a difficult period. Nurses check in on a set schedule and equipment is at the bedside. It is not an ICU — but it is the level of attention families expect for a critical recovery week.

Best for

Residents in the first days after hospital discharge, during a difficult phase of recovery, or when the doctor recommends closer observation.
